Fallacy #1: I can get all the SEO benefits from a blog without doing any work (creating content on a consistent basis). A hired blogger could be a solution but who know the business better than the principal. The “ghost” blogger would still need to be briefed weekly on what the executive is thinking and the best approach to engage the target market.
There still is no free lunch. Darn.

I agree with the erroneous belief what you have mentioned. I have a doubt, am i a ghost blogger if i join and accept an offer through payperpost.com or reviewme.com?
Ofcourse ghost blogger needs to know much about company and the products which they deal with. Is there a good opening for ghost blogger?
Thanks for the comment.
I haven’t tried those services yet,but after looking at them that is more like writing a review once in a while(and getting paid for it) vs what I was talking about was becoming the full time voice of a company representing the owner or high level executive.
That is ghost writing in my definition. The others are just paid editorial.
ok thanks… you have an exceptional website. how about exchanging links? your site will definitely help my audiences to learn more about online industry.
